Sunday Worship
Our primary role as members of God’s creation is to worship God in all things. Worship is our way of thanking God for the countless gifts of life… love, grace, nature, meaningful relationships, faith, and so much more. At WDMCC, we turn to scripture, the life of Jesus, prayer, music, and the Christian tradition to praise God through a variety of expressions and to grow as disciples of Christ. We share in Communion weekly as a celebration of Jesus’ saving work.
Sunday Morning Schedule:
9:00am — Sunday School
10:00am — Worship (in-person and online)
11:00am — Fellowship in The Gathering
Sunday Worship
Way, Truth, Life
Many people experienced Jesus as rabbi and teacher. And he was certainly a great teacher who taught truths about the will of God and the Way of the kingdom of heaven. But Jesus also lived what he taught. Throughout Lent we'll be pairing the Beatitudes from Jesus' famous Sermon on the Mount with several stories from the life of Jesus' ministry to show how Jesus practiced what he preached. He didn’t just tell people about the way to live. He LIVED that “Way.” And he invites people to live that Way alongside him.
Dallas Willard says rather than the word “Christian” he prefers the word “apprentice” because it means we’re with Jesus learning to do what he did. That’s how the first disciples did it: they watched Jesus carefully. They listened to him. And when the time came, Jesus said to his disciples, "Okay, now you do it."
To follow Jesus is to become his apprentice — to be with Jesus, to become like him, and to do as he did.
Join us Sunday mornings at 10:00am in the sanctuary or online!

For the Kids
Kids ages K-5th grade are invited to attend Kids’ Worship in the Gym Building during the 10:00am worship hour. We’ll all start worship together in the Sanctuary. Following Children’s Sermon, kids who wish to participate in Kids’ Worship can then go to the Children’s Ministries building with our volunteers to enjoy VBS-like worship, music, and activities tailored to their age group.
