Sunday Worship

Our primary role as members of God’s creation is to worship God in all things. Worship is our way of thanking God for the countless gifts of life… love, grace, nature, meaningful relationships, faith, and so much more. At WDMCC, we turn to scripture, the life of Jesus, prayer, music, and the Christian tradition to praise God through a variety of expressions and to grow as disciples of Christ. We share in Communion weekly as a celebration of Jesus’ saving work.

Sunday Morning Schedule:
9:00am — Sunday School
10:00am — Worship (in-person and online)
11:00am — Fellowship in The Gathering

Pentecost: Living in the Spirit

At Pentecost, the Holy Spirit came with power to form a new community, to breathe new life into weary hearts, and to shape believers into people who reflect the character of Christ. Through the gift of God’s Spirit, what started as a small movement of Jesus followers grew into the early Church— a people through which the love and mission of Christ could continue to be made tangible in this world after his ascension. The coming of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost is more than just a story from the past; it’s a reminder that God is still moving, still breathing life into dry bones, still sending us out with purpose. Join us for our new worship series, Living in the Spirit, as we take a look at how the Holy Spirit continues to guide, renew, and grow God’s people today!

Join us Sundays at 10am in the sanctuary or online!

For the Kids

Kids ages K-5th grade are invited to attend Kids’ Worship in the Gym Building during the 10:00am worship hour.  We’ll all start worship together in the Sanctuary.  Following Children’s Sermon, kids who wish to participate in Kids’ Worship can then go to the Children’s Ministries building with our volunteers to enjoy VBS-like worship, music, and activities tailored to their age group.
