Sunday Worship
Sunday Worship
Our primary role as members of God’s creation is to worship God in all things. Worship is our way of thanking God for the countless gifts of life… gifts like love, grace, nature, meaningful relationships, faith, and so much more. At WDMCC, we turn to scripture, the life of Jesus, prayer, music, and the Christian tradition to praise God through a variety of expressions and to grow as disciples of Christ. We share in Communion weekly as a celebration of Jesus’ saving work.
Sunday Morning Schedule:
9:00am — Sunday School
10:00am — Worship (both in-person and online)
11:00am — Fellowship in The Gathering
This Little Light of Mine
After Advent’s longing and Christmas’ joy, we walk in the bright truth that the Light of Life has come into the world. In Jesus Christ, God’s life and love have broken into the darkness… not as a distant glow, but as light that takes on flesh, dwells among us, and refuses to be overcome. But the story doesn’t end with Jesus’ arrival. Because the Light has come, life now looks different.
We’re in a new series called “This Little Light of Mine.” During this series we’ll explore what it means to be formed by Christ’s light and sent out as light bearers. From the Word who speaks creation into being, to Jesus’ call to be salt and light; form shining like stars in a fractured world, to being clothed with compassion, humility, and love; from being brought out of darkness into God’s marvelous light, to standing in awe at Christ’s transfigured glory—we are called to reflect the Light of the One who came to cast out darkness. Let’s begin the new year by stepping into the light together.
Join us Sunday mornings at 10:00am in the sanctuary or online!

For the Kids
Kids ages K-5th grade are invited to attend Kids’ Worship in the Gym Building during the 10:00am worship hour. We’ll all start worship together in the Sanctuary. Following Children’s Sermon, kids who wish to participate in Kids’ Worship can then go to the Children’s Ministries building with our volunteers to enjoy VBS-like worship, music, and activities tailored to their age group.
