Children's Ministries
Children are always welcome in worship! It is important for children's lives of faith and for adults' lives of faith that children participate in worship. Below is a list of ways children can be involved in worship and Christian education at WDMCC.
Friends in faith (Grades k-5)
Friends in Faith is a weekly program (Sundays 4:00 - 5:00 pm) welcoming all children grades K-5 interested in learning about Jesus, the Bible, and the Christian faith through games, crafts, stories, field trips, and other fun and exciting activities.

Baptism Class
All children entering 5th grade (and any unbaptized youth) are invited to join this special class which trains students in ways of discipleship. Discussion focuses on faith, hope, prayer, communion, baptism, and the beliefs of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). Weekly activities will include special guest speakers, community service projects, and field trips. During this period of Christian formation, each class member will be paired with an Elder who serves as a mentor, prayer partner, and friend for the year.
