As creatures of the Creator, we have been made to worship God in all things (see 1 Chronicles 16:23-31 | Psalms 95-98 | Ephesians 1:11-14).  Christian worship, then, is a means of showing who we are (gifts of God) in what we do (glorify God).  The word 'liturgy' means "the work of the people." So, when we worship together, we practice the holiest of labors.  At WDMCC we turn to Scripture, the life of Jesus, and the Christian tradition to 1) praise God through a variety of expressions, and 2) grow as disciples of Christ.

Worship at WDMCC

As the Body of Christ, we gather each Sunday in Christian community to encounter God as we pray together, share in weekly Communion, sing hymns & praise songs, celebrate child dedications and baptisms, and hear God's Word through Scripture & sermons.

Make a joyful noise to the LORD, all the earth. Worship the LORD with gladness; come into his presence with singing. ~Psalm 100:1-2
