West Des Moines Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) is a vibrant, growing congregation. Our congregation
welcomes everyone. We offer programs in outreach, mission, pastoral care and spiritual growth for all ages.
We invite you to join us for worship, featuring lively music, adult, youth and children’s choirs, inspiring
messages, weekly communion and children’s sermons.
Worship services are at 8:45 and 11 a.m.
Church School for all ages at 10 a.m.
During summer months, there is one worship service at 10 a.m.
Weather Cancellations
In case of inclement weather, WDMCC will announce worship service and activity cancellations on WHO-TV13, KCCI-TV8, or WHO-1040 AM radio.
Friends In Faith Bad Weather Policy
If there are extreme weather conditions and WDM schools cancel or dismiss early, Friends in Faith will not be held.
During inclement weather when school is not dismissed we’ll decide whether to continue FIF or call parents if conditions worsen. On bad weather days, please pick up your children as soon as possible. We will stay with them until you arrive. WDMCC has weather radios to monitor conditions. Feel free to call the church office @ 223-1639 at any time for
